Nervous System Work
Your nervous system runs the show โ often more than we realise.
Do you feel overwhelmed, on edge, or like your body is stuck in a stress response?
And when you reflect on your day-to-day experience โ do you feel grounded and calm, or more often overstimulated, anxious, or disconnected from yourself?
Your nervous system plays a central role in how you feel, function, and experience life โ often more than we realise.
Whether we are in a regulated or dysregulated state can influence many aspects of our health, including digestion and nutrient absorption, immune function, energy levels, stress resilience, and even posture, sleep, and hormonal balance.
It also shapes how we think, how we respond emotionally, how we relate to others, and how safe or overwhelmed we feel in everyday life.
When the nervous system feels supported and regulated, the body has more capacity for repair, restoration, and adaptation. Life tends to feel clearer, steadier, and more connected.
There is so much you can do to support your nervous system throughout the day! Watch my short and insightful video on how to build regular nervous system regulation practices into your day.
Support during illness, including cancer.
Living with a health condition such as cancer can place a significant emotional and physical load on the nervous system.
Periods of uncertainty, treatment, and recovery can bring stress, fear, and overwhelm, which the body continues to process over time.
This work offers gentle support to help regulate the nervous system, creating more space for rest, emotional processing, and a greater sense of steadiness during a challenging time.
It is not a replacement for medical care, but a complementary approach that supports you as a whole person.
Going through cancer can often affect the relationship we have with our bodies, and for many people it can feel like trust has been lost or shaken.
This work is here to gently support you in rebuilding that sense of trust and connection with your body again.
It also offers support in understanding the importance of nervous system regulation during times of illness, treatment, and recovery.
When the nervous system is in a more regulated state, often associated with the parasympathetic response, the body is better able to rest, restore, and conserve energy โ creating more internal space for recovery and balance.
All sessions are held online, so I can work with people around the world from the comfort and privacy of their own home.
