Breathwork
The foundation of good health.
‘’No matter what we eat, how much we exercise, how resilient our genes are, how skinny or young or wise we are—none of it will matter unless we’re breathing correctly. That’s what these researchers discovered. The missing pillar in health is breath. It all starts there.” James Nestor
How well do you breathe?
Have you ever stopped to think about how you breathe and how it affects your health? Most of us take breathing for granted, but improper breathing patterns can lead to issues like asthma, sleep apnea, anxiety, or poor endurance. Do you know if you're breathing optimally for your body’s needs?
If emotional release and stress management are what you need, I also work with conscious connected breathing technique which can support you in letting go of past tension and locked emotions and trauma, giving you the space to move forward with clarity and liberation.
Breathwork is a powerful tool to not only improve your physical health but also to unlock emotional freedom. It’s also a potent spiritual tool connecting us to the Divine, and aligning us with the greater flow of life.
How can I support you?
If you’re looking to improve your lung capacity, address breathing-related issues like wheezing or breathlessness, or even improve your endurance during exercise, I can help. Through personalized assessments and breathwork techniques, I’ll guide you to understand your unique breathing patterns and help you improve them.
I am an Oxygen Advantage practitioner and I also have been incorporating Dr. Buteyko's method into my work for years. I am also a Kundalini Yoga teacher, where working with the breath is a key part of the practice.
Additionally, I am a HeartMath-certified practitioner with a clinical certification in stress, anxiety, and stress regulation
The way you breathe affects your entire system — from posture and digestion, to nervous system regulation and emotional balance.
Different emotional and mental states are reflected in different breathing patterns, which means the breath is both a mirror of how we feel, and a powerful tool for change.
Because of this, the breath has often been referred to as “life force energy” across many ancient traditions.
When we learn how to work with the breath consciously, we can begin to influence how we feel — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
When we are in a state of relaxation and rest, the body naturally begins to breathe more slowly and deeply. Practising a similar pattern of breathing can help guide the body back into a calmer, more regulated state.
Coherent breathing is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to support your autonomic nervous system in returning to a parasympathetic state — where the body can rest, recover, and restore.
