What Are Your Core Values in Life, and Is Health One of Them?

We inhabit a world where being healthy and thriving on a physical, mental, or emotional level is a rarity. In a realm where lack of energy, perpetual fatigue, stress, and chronic pain or illness have become the norm. These are times when the healthcare system has truly become a system that monitors the sick rather than supporting us in creating the healthiest conditions, where many ailments and diseases can be naturally resolved. I ponder when and why we lost the connection with ourselves and our bodies and the trust that, in many cases, lifestyle changes can bring immediate improvement. We have relinquished trust into the hands of corporations whose main goal, unfortunately, is not our health.

Eighty percent of the food in supermarkets is processed and contains substances that should not be considered as food. What would need to happen for us to take responsibility again and regain control over our greatest life asset, which is health? It all begins with the understanding that there are many aspects of your life over which you have control. We make around 30,000 decisions a day, and most of them are influenced by external factors. When we slowly start directing our attention inward and making conscious decisions – decisions that will help us make the best choices regarding health aspects such as nutrition; where our focus goes; the people we surround ourselves with; how we manage stress; how we care for our sleep; how we move our bodies; what we do for pure pleasure, etc. – then we begin to consciously create our lives according to our core values and allow ourselves to have the best health possible.

Health coaching is a relatively new profession, more needed than ever before to navigate lifestyle medicine and implement a health plan that will contribute to creating the healthiest conditions.

If health is something you would like to focus on going into the new year, get in touch and book your free 15-minute discovery call here. We can then discus what your goals are and whether I can support you on our journey.
