A 6-Week Nervous System Recalibration — Online Retreat
Lately, I’ve been noticing — and feeling — how the chaos and uncertainty in the world shake our sense of safety and calm. It’s becoming harder to regulate ourselves and allow our nervous system to feel truly safe. Pause for a moment — how does your body feel right now? How easily can you rest or relax?
It’s easy to get used to living in hyperarousal — high cortisol, constant stimulation, forgetting what it feels like to be grounded, to rest, to simply feel calm. This year, in Chinese astrology, is the Year of the Fire Horse — fast-moving, intense, full of events and potential conflicts. More than ever, we need to remind ourselves to slow down, regulate, and recalibrate. To connect with others and co-create spaces where safety, rest, and ease are possible.
This programme grew out of my regular breathing classes, which I’ve been teaching for over five years. I’ve felt a longing for something deeper — practices that are powerful, like breathwork, but also other techniques to help us feel steady, safe, and embodied.
We will meet weekly, Thursdays 6–7 PM UK time via Zoom. Each session will begin with a group check-in, followed by a short presentation and then a series of practices. We’ll go deep together, exploring techniques to calm, regulate, and restore our nervous systems. The sessions will be recorded, so you can return to the practices whenever you need.
In addition, there will be a WhatsApp group where we can support each other, share experiences, and stay motivated with daily practices between sessions.
This is a space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and find your baseline again.
